Luxury EV maker Polestar will provide battery and charging methods to electric boat agency Candela after the 2 Swedish corporations signed a multi-year settlement.
In a press release Tuesday, Polestar stated the deal represented the start of a “broader intended partnership” between itself and Candela. Both companies, it stated, have been “committed to exploring further opportunities for future collaboration.”
In its personal announcement, Candela — which has places of work in Stockholm and Sausalito, California — stated the settlement would allow it to “tap into state-of-the-art automotive battery technology and scale up production” of its electric boats.
