Jamie Carragher, a Liverpool legend who wore his mythical shirt from 1996 to 2013, was very forceful after PSG’s 2-0 defeat against Bayern which meant the elimination of the team of Lionel Messi, Neymar, Sergio Ramos, and Kylian Mbappé in the round of 16 final of the Champions League.
The current analyst CBS Sports asked Mbappé to go to Real Madrid and leave a club that according to him is not prepared to win the Champions League.
“Kylian Mbappé has to leave PSG. I really think he has to leave. They are not even close to winning the Champions League. I don’t think he will improve next season if he stays with that squad and the faster he is at Real Madrid the better “Carragher said on CBS.
Enigmatic “we’ll see” of Mbappé talking about his future
At the end of the match, Mbappé raised doubts about his future with an enigmatic “we’ll see”.
The French striker declared after the defeat against Bayern that “if I rethink my future? No, no… I’m calm, the only thing that matters to me this season is winning the league and then we’ll see”.

Carragher was very harsh with PSG’s new European elimination and his transfer policy in recent years: “Being eliminated five times in the round of 16 is a joke. In an ideal world, you want a lot of money and experience in the transfer market. .and they just don’t have it.”
The CBS chain suggests that “it is a critical moment for PSG” and points out that “all Mbappé with aging stars and an unreliable Neymar is not the way to go.”
