LeBron James surprises a girl after sitting next to her on the Warrior’s court James was ruled out with “left knee pain”; in his second straight game lost.
Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James didn’t play the Golden State Warriors on Saturday at Chase Center, but he still managed to be a young fan’s favorite part of the day. James, 38, was ruled out with “left knee soreness,” his second straight game missed since he became the NBA’s all-time scoring leader.
The 11-year-old told ESPN’s Lisa Salters that she filed for the court tickets three months ago in hopes of seeing James break the Chase Center scoring record.
Despite James pulling off the historic feat days earlier against the Oklahoma City Thunder at Crypto.com Arena, the 11-year-old fan was still excited to see her favorite player on the court.
When she found out that James was injured, the court seats seemed excessive, especially since she was nowhere to be found.
