Scarlett Johansson gave an exclusive interview on Variety and confessed her reaction to learning of the accident that almost cost Jeremy Renner his life. The actress who during the photo shoot showed off her back tattoos in a black Prada dress adorned with a bow claimed that once she heard about Renner’s accident she felt “very upset.”

“In the Avengers message chain, we say, ‘Okay, you beat us all. That’s all. You won.’ That’s like real superhero stuff. It’s incredible,” the actress said. It should be remembered that he suffered in 2003 a terrible accident with a snowplow that broke 30 bones, in addition to causing a fractured jaw, a collapsed lung and a perforated liver. Renner has managed to recover almost miraculously because four months after the accident, the actor has already returned to the red carpets.
“Honestly, I was happy to see him. I didn’t know if I would see him again. Not just seeing it again, but seeing it thrive and in such an amazing space, mentally. He is a very spiritual person in general and a very touching person. (…) I was so happy to see that it is full of life and light. It’s very funny. We laughed a lot,” Scarlett told Variety.
